Visiting the Parliament

The class 7b visited the Austrian parliament. These were their impressions:

I really liked the different architecture. One side of the Parliament is old and the other side is new, it felt like going through time. (Shahnaz)

My experience in the Parliament was fantastic! The tour guide spoke very clearly, making it easy to understand him and I was also amazed by the architecture, especially in the old council chamber. (Anabela)

When visiting the Parliament, I discovered a beautiful place where history and important decisions come together. (Wanessa)

The visit to the Parliament felt like witnessing democracy. (Wiktoria)

In the first national council, with over 300 seats, there were drawers to lock up personal things with a key if a deputee wanted to go somewhere during the break. (Marija)

It was really pretty, the design of the interior was really great, especially the statues and paintings of the Greek gods! (Patrycja)

The Parliament was hit by bombs from the US troops three times during the Second World War. (Anna)

I liked the feeling of being at the spot where politicians do their job, that was exciting.(Lennox)

I found out that Austria is in second place among the countries that have declared war to other countries with a figure of 47 nations –  which is mindblowing! (Patricia)
